NBBC’s Children’s Ministry
teaches children from birth through 5th grade

Nursery Ministry is available during Sunday School at 9:00 am and during the Service of Worship at 10:30 am. Nursery is for infant children through age 2. The bible tells us in Psalm 127:3 that children are a gift from the Lord. We value each child as unique and special, to be cared for, nurtured, and shown the love of Jesus. Both parents and church workers play an essential and influential role in making God’s love real to these little ones. It is our desire to become a partnering extension of your home. We will provide a safe, quiet, and gentle environment for your child. With the use of music, play time, and stories we will teach them about God’s love for them and others.

Sunday School takes place at 9:00 am for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Through the use of age  ppropriate curriculum and activities, children are taught Biblical truths and of God’s love for them and others. Our classrooms provide a safe, joyful, and stimulating environment for your child.

Worship Services:
Prime Time is for our Kinder through 5th graders. They will begin in the service with their parents and then dismissed after the worship time to the KidZone, where they will have a close and rather fun look at  ttributes that allow our kids to live out Luke 2:52.

Tune Time is for our two year olds to Pre K kiddos. They will remain in the Sunday School class they  are in (or join those there). The first 20 minutes will be spent doing hands on activities to introduce the lesson before they head down to the Safari room for TUNE TIME. Story tellers, music men and fun will be presenting their sweet story of Jesus before they return to their room to dig a little deeper!

Special Events happen throughout the year which provide opportunities for children to come together with others. Some of these include: The Family Experience; Summer Story Time - Thursday mornings; Children’s Plays, Youth choir (meets seasonally on Sunday evenings at 4:00 PM); Friday Play Groups.

How do I know if my child should not come due to sickness?

We do not accept children who have:

• A temperature within the last 24 hours
• Yellow or greenish mucus from eyes or nose
• Diarrhea
• Been on antibiotics less than 24 hours
• Have vomited within the last 24 hours

When dropping your children off, you will be asked to complete a small form that will ensure we know exactly who your child is and who may pick up your child. Our teachers and volunteers are carefully screened, and are most often the parent of a child in one of our classes.

The children meet in various classrooms throughout the morning. A map is available for current locations at the welcome center.
